Brief Introduction

Ginseng, also named as Korea Ginseng, Asian Ginseng, with latin name: Panax Ginseng C. A. Mey,  is mainly distributed in China, North Korea, South Korea, and the  Russia ,Far East. The cultivated area of ginseng in China is mainly distributed in Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning province with its suitable growing environment. The cultivated area of  Ginseng in Jilin Province is around 36million , annually root output 4000 tons, which takes 80% output of China, as well as 70% output of the world.

Different between Ginseng Products

1.Planting Ginseng and Wild Ginseng

There are more PTS in Wild Ginseng compared with Planting Ginseng and causing a much more strong effect and little side effect such as inflammation and Hypertension.

China MOH is officially approve Ginseng (Cultivated) as “New source of food”. On this approve, MOH specially instructed that, all the ginseng used as food, should be cultivated within 5 years. And the used part can be only as root, daily intake should not more than 3gram. Not used as pregnant,  lactating women and children under 14 years old.

 


2.Root extract and Leave extract

There is a high content of Rd in leaf extract while Rb1 occupies the main part of root extract. Different compositions lend to a different effect
